The Program Engineer will be familiar with program requirements and ensure technical resources have adequate qualifications to meet program objectives in line with Client, industry and local standards and practices.
 
  • Ensuring that the engineering and design work for all phases of the project by engineering contractors meet the stated criteria for technical quality.
  • Ensuring that the proper engineering reviews using Blue Beam are performed in a consistent way across the program prior to the issuance of drawings and/or specifications.
  • Provision of engineering support during the construction, commissioning, and start-up phase as required.
  • Work with project manages and document control to ensure handover of all project documentation to MPC refineries is planned, red-lines are updated and that the handover is complete at the end of each project
  • Lead risk management, lessons learned and deliverables quality reviews.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a Project Management or Engineering Manager
  • At least 5 Years' Experience in two or more of the following BPCS Automation areas: DCS Systems Design, PLC/DCS Configuration, Graphics Design and Configuration, Networking and Fiber Optic Design, Control Room Layout and Design
  • Familiar with Functional Safety Design and Safety System Design.
  • On-site Refining or Process plant automation experience performing project work
  • 4 year BS Degree from an accredited university in a field relevant to the work experience
  • Evidence of Active participation in industry organization and/or certification as a PE or PMP
