MFG WIRING ASSEBMLY TECHNICIAN
TYPE: Contract Position
DURATION: 6 Months Contract

Engages in the fabrication and testing of industrial control system components such as but not limited to
control cabinets, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical sub assemblies.

- Fabricates and installs mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical subassemblies per engineering

diagrams, bills of material (BOM) and production control documents (traveler).

- Utilizes engineering schematics and address tables to terminate point-to-point wiring and assemble

various cable and harness assemblies.

- Performs continuity, environmental, and dielectric (Hipot) tests as required in support of System Test

activities.

- Assists System Test Technician and Test Engineers with fabrication of test fixtures as assigned by

Integration Manager.

- Utilizes downtime to complete various projects including but not limited to construction, logistics, and

material handling as assigned by Operations Management.

- Adheres to company wide safety and quality procedures.

- Engages in other activities as assigned by Operations Management.

- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

- High school graduate or equivalent

- 2 to 5 years related experience.

- Possess an understanding of mathematics up to and including technical mathematics (pre-algebra).

- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or

diagram form. 

- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized

situations.

- To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess beginning to intermediate knowledge of

productivity applications such as MS Excel 2000 and MS Word 2000.
