PTS is looking for CNC machinists to join the team at a leading manufacturing facility. The comes with great benefits and a full time schedule.

Schedule: Mon - Friday / 1st Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Compensation: Up to $25/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production of quality parts/products on various machines such as but not limited to CNC boring mill machines.
• Responsible for set-up, operation and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements holding close tolerances and maximum efficiencies.
• Interpretation of drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points.
• Adjustment of machines and machine controls to ensure proper production of parts. Reports all machine malfunctions to immediate supervisor.
• Operates a forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
• Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions.
• Responsible for the enforcement of all Company Health, Safety and Environmental rules.
• May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience operating CNC Equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Fanuc control experience
• Able to perform setups
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications
• Must posses basic math skills
• Knowledge of instruments such as calipers, ID & OD Micrometers, and depth gauges
