Our client is looking for a Construction Scheduling Supervisor to help spearhead the development of their Southern California operations.

The Construction Scheduling Supervisor
The Centralized Scheduling Department consist of a Team of Production Coordinators who are directly responsible for scheduling the work being performed by the subcontractor base. The Construction Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for the over-sight and success of the Central Scheduling Department.
- Supervise daily vendor delivery operations, planning and subcontractor scheduling manpower.
- Ensure Schedules are developed, correct, and revised as needed
- Ensure quality standards and productivity goals are achieved for on-time delivery
- Provides initial and ongoing training to the Production Coordinators and supporting team members.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for KPIs and alignment with the Leadership Team.
- Continuously supports team members efforts toward achieving department and individual goals
- Mediates individual problems and relating to staffing, scheduling, materials, and manpower.
- Manages and implements appropriate data to monitor operational outcomes
- Collaborates with Area Managers and purchasing in continuous improvement of Scheduling Operations workflows in the field.
- Works to improve Centralized Scheduling.
- Coach team members based on daily/weekly/monthly metrics to monitor team and individual performance. Take full ownership of team's responsibilities.
- Recognize, reward, and celebrate the success and accomplishment of team members
- Implement Performance Improvement Plans/disciplinary actions as needed
- Personally, identify recurring issues, determine root causes, develop corrective actions, and oversee critical projects to ensure successful construction for on-time delivery.
Experience Required
- Knowledge of construction a plus
- Ideal Candidates may come from Logistical or Purchasing Background.
