Our client is a developer of alternative fueling resources across California.  They are hiring a Controls Engineer to support fueling stations across California. 

Using control descriptions, electrical schematics, and drawings, creating PLC code for control of various mechanical systems.

 

Create, review or modify electrical schematics, drawings, and I/O lists for various mechanical systems to ensure compliance with engineering standards. 
 
 Assist Field Service Technicians with commissioning and troubleshooting of applied programming as stations are upgraded or added online. 
 
 Work with engineering team to develop electrical, instrumentation and controls products and systems to satisfy unique customer specifications, contracts, and new business development.
 
 Develop design and manufacturing of control systems.
 
 Submit status reports to management on progress of assigned projects.
 
 Assist Field Service Technicians as necessary in equipment tests, assembly, installation, and set-up activities to ensure components and systems are performing to engineering design standards and supplier specifications.
 
 Program troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution for PLC codes. 
 
 Help estimate engineering time, costs and resources required for projects.
 
 Perform other duties as assigned.
