Drafter

Description:
Drafter position will entail working with the design and engineering groups to create and update drawings, build systems and packages and improve site documentation. Drawings will be developed utilizing AutoCad and administered to contractors via Company protocol.

Experience
(3-5 years) with some refinery or heavy industrial plant experience preferred
Candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
Candidate must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Individual should be highly motivated and work well with other disciplines.

Responsibilities Include:
Create and update P&ID's, PFD's, general arrangements, equipment, mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, data sheets, drawing index's, pipeline list's, instrument schematics, motor schematics, and one-line power diagrams using rough sketches, redlines and/or requests from engineer/designer
Field verify and check equipment and other piping components from specifications to verify accuracy (components/routing/sizes) and update as needed
Maintain document control for drawings and engineering documents using an electronic document management system.
