Position Summary

This position will allow you to be the best Sales Director in the industry surrounded by one of the most outstanding Leadership teams around, it also allows you to get out with clients and your team to develop deep relationships around the country.   This person will still have the Joy of presenting technical solutions while mentoring and polishing their sales team with innovative thinking and strategic planning while supporting the business operations.  

In all activities the Director of Sales with perform their duties with integrity while promoting a safe and positive work environment.  

 

Essential Functions

  • Leading and managing the sales team as part of our Clients Core Values in all aspects as it relates to employees, clients, vendors and other team members.
  • Frequent discussions with the Director of Operations on the health of the sales and operations teams
  • Provide leadership and guidance to develop and implement individual sales strategies across the company to include:
  • Strategic alignment with Operations Director on sales initiatives
  • Strategic sales plan aligned with TM's and Thermal group for managed growth in each territory based on equipment and manpower availability.
  • Ride along with salespersons to include interaction with our client base and presentations of all our service lines, coordinating and in conjunction with leadership as needed.
  • Manage SalesForce activity to include tracking of contacts, events, and task to ensure a healthy pipeline of work.
  • Manage companywide forecast by salesperson by territory to meet Leadership, Director of Operations and Territory Managers expectation.
  • Employee yearly review to be completed in the Clients systems.
  • Assure invoice approvals are completed each month.
  • Assure DSO stays within the Clients expectations.
  • Management of commission structure, payment, and splits
  • Responsible for training and documenting all existing and new employees.
  • Responsible for initiating PIP with Territory Manager for sales personnel improvements.
  • Attending trade shows and conferences to provide company information and organization of information to the industry.
  • Manage Monday update calls across the company.
  • Safety Management

 

 

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in the Environmental/Industrial Services to the Upstream/Downstream Field
  • 5 years of experience in sales management
  • Forecasting our company out to 90 days
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SalesForce
  • Experience presenting to large audiences which includes company and clients
  • Preferred location for this position is at our La Porte branch
