Foreman - Tank Cleaning

Job Specifics -

  • Rotation schedule will vary in accordance with the particular project, however regular in/out schedule will be determined and communicated to employees in advance;
  • Hours of work per day vary but are regularly 10-12 hours per day, with applicable overtime rates;
  • Projects are varied and 'on-site' and accommodation and food are provided.

 

Requirements -

  • 5 years direct work-related experience relating to the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum of 2 years Foreman experience in similar role on projects
  • Must possess critical thinking, problem solving, time management, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience working in a physically demanding role
  • Must possess mechanical, pumps and hydraulic knowledge, technically inclined
  • Must possess a chemical oil and gas background, experience or education
  • Must be proficient with computers and programs such as MS Office.
  • Must be comfortable with long hours, night shifts and periods of travel
  • Has prepared and lead toolbox talks
  • Experience completing daily Hazard Assessments
  • Experience in ensuring necessary permits are in place prior to job
  • Has worked ensuring Lock Out/Tag out procedures in place
  • Experience in checking PPE for all employees prior to shifts
  • Must be proficient in training & monitoring employees in oil and gas projects
  • Experience in providing daily updates to Clients and Management
  • Experience completing billing for third parties
  • Background in ensuring tasks communicated from senior management are executed.
  • Background in completing and submitting daily progress reports, work tickets, safety documentation, etc.
  • Excellent Safety record and Safety-focused experience required;
  • Respectful demeanor and the ability to comfortably speak in large groups
