Client: Industrial Gases
Location: Pasadena, TX
Duration: Long Term on going

Travel: 25-45%
Schedule: 40 hours per week when not in turnaround, OT as required and during turnaround (7/13s) with fatigue days every 14 days.
Looking for someone with previous scheduling experience but willing to train and develop them.  
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Working knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Developed & maintain all Turnaround schedules. 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) OneNote, SAP, Primavera P6.
  • Ability to develop a resource-loaded schedule for planned outages and projects. 
  • Experience in management of change orders, resource loading graphs, man-hour databases, and manpower forecasting. 
  • 1+ years' experience in Turnaround Planning & Scheduling Services
  • 1+ years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, exchangers, pumps, hydrotesting and pipe fabrication.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and construction
  • Draws up master/discipline schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet client forecasted master schedule. 
  • Work closely with field execution and management teams in implementing new processes and verifying the scheduling reports and data meet their specific requirements and are understood.
  • Provide Turnaround & Construction Scheduling Services, including all schedule development & activity coding, resource loading & analysis, Cost Breakdown Structure development & maintenance, resource levelling & baseline management. 
  • Provide detailed and accurate reporting throughout a project utilizing Primavera P6, including field level reports showing priority work and work in progress for each craft or trade. Also, for the Project Management & Project Controls team, provide various daily/cumulative Earned Value reports utilizing man hours/resources/equipment/Critical Path etc. specific to the project. 
  • Provide "Schedule Mechanics Audits' & "Cold Eye' Reviews prior to execution including verifying all applicable resource/cost/activity coding requirements are implemented, an updating and reporting process has been developed, that accurate and realistic resource levelling is achieved, and that baselines are assigned. 
  • Support  Management of Change process, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Provide daily Critical Path status reports along with other relevant information allowing proactive decisions to be made quickly with confidence. 
  • Facilitate Turnaround planning & execution meetings.
  • Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
