Materials Purchaser and Coordinator

Our client is seeking Materials purchaser and coordinator with a min. 5 years of refinery or EPC experience. Experience with warehouse support/Inventory Management.  This is a long term contract opportunity slated to last 1-1/2  years.
Must have buyer/materials experience.  Planning experience is a huge plus too.


Supply Chain tactical support, performing the following tasks:


*  Loading and unloading all material that enters or exits the facility


*  Verify all company purchased goods for accuracy and quality - receive and issue these goods within SAP and coordinate the physical movement to final destination


*  Inventory Management through flash audit and cycle count


*  Coordinate and process returns of any company-purchased materials back to the vendor; Stock, Non-stock, Turnaround, Project, etc.


*  Material staging, tracking and distribution


*  Certified Fork Lift Operator/Trainer and Storehouse Safety Liaison


*  Issue stock materials in SAP and coordinate deliveries


*  Subject Matter Expert/Trainer for company's Inventory Barcode Program


*  Focal point for turnaround material distribution during turnaround work 


*  SAP Transactional Lead for all warehouse related activities


*  Work closely with procurement team to maintain timely service with internal and external customers


*  Develop and maintain Warehouse Safety Guidelines and promote hazard awareness daily
