Permit Coordinator/Expeditor 


Qualifications
* High School Degree or equivalent work experience
* 2 years' experience with construction permitting
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
* Ability to understand basic engineering and construction concepts
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
 
Responsibilities
* It will be the responsibility of the Permit Expeditor to navigate the application and permit process by investigating city planning department guidelines, submitting paperwork properly and on time and keep apprised of the application status
* Review, prepare, and submit permits in accordance with jurisdictional requirements
* Coordinate payment and reimbursement of permit fees according to company guidelines
*Work with with local jurisdictions to streamline permit processes
* Organize all completed paperwork, and process payments in a compliant, secure manner
* Keep apprised of continuously changing regulations and notify staff accordingly
* Additional tasks as requested
