We are looking to hire a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to assist our medical device client in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. Our client is a leading organization that that develops and manufactures life-saving medical devices to be used for patients around the world.

In this role you will be managing and developing the manufacturing team leads and their direct reports in addition to budgeting levels, managing productivity, managing D/L, and ensuring the quality systems are consistently in compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operator Training and facilitation of employee involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Completion of Performance/Merit reviews & Compensation Recommendations
• Manage time and attendance of manufacturing teams.
• Assist the Manager in managing the manufacturing design and flow, SAP integration, and quality compliance (CAPAs, NCRs etc) in addition to ensuring compliance to 21CFR820 and ISO13485.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing as a team lead or supervisor.
• Experience in the medical device industry (or pharmaceutical/biotech).
• Knowledge of 21CFR820 & ISO 13485
• Expertise in manufacturing processes, engineering drawings and schematics, basic material characteristics and use of instruments and measurement techniques.
