PTS Advance is actively hiring a Senior Project Controller to join a rapidly growing Project Delivery and Construction team. This Senior Project Controller Specialist will have the ability to contribute to the development of industry leading pharmaceutical sites in the Carolinas.
While this role consists of traveling on-site occasionally, the desired individual will reside in either of the Carolinas to visit projects. This Senior Project Controller must have the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize, manage, and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, forecast and build all stages of project expenses utilizing up to date trade procedures and technologies. Offer cost improving guidance and coordinate with internal and external teams for smooth recording to assure efficient Project Delivery.

- Development and adherence of Budget, issuing and maintenance of invoices, change control and forecasting.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Project Managers, Procurement Specialists, and Estimators.
- Create and evaluate budgets with feedback from key stakeholders.
- Certify invoicing and payment of contractors. Abide by project forecasting, taking funding and invoicing from client into account.
- Monitor cost trends. Maintain current with changes.
- Work cohesively with team members and partners.
- Offer guidance and supervise project members.
- Promote continuous improvement.
Background
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or an industry related field.
- Previous applicable experience in construction management or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in cost or project controls preferred.
- A well-rounded understanding of procurement, construction, or engineering pertaining to Life Sciences.
- Knowledge of technical documentation and construction/engineering.
- Skilled in Cost/Project concepts. Ability to plan and execute.
- SME in invoicing and forecasting. Able to report on changes.
- Fluent in construction/cost reporting systems. Fluent in Microsoft platforms.
