Turnaround Planner
Client: Chemical Plant
Location: Geismar, LA
Duration: August 8/2023 - May 05/2025 could go longer
Work schedule: 4/10's 5:30am to 4:00pm

Responsibilities:
* Perform job walks and create detailed plans of Turnaround work scope.
* Studies drawings, plans and specifications to get all work that needs to be done by collaborating and discussing with project leadership, develops, monitors and updates project plans and schedules
* Meets with work order creator to understand details scope if needed.
* Submits purchasing requests for materials and equipment rental/purchasing and tracks usage
* Computes estimates for materials, labor, and subcontracted work. Enters Manhours, Crafts, Durations, Material and Service Requisition information into Maximo
* Compiles lists of materials, tools or equipment needed in addition to man hours
* Participate in schedule optimization revies with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated into the schedule. Also have one on one with scheduler to assure proper logic ties.
* Actively Participate in project planning, progress meetings and safety meetings
* Ability to Verify information in field using P&ID's and drawings.
Skills:
* Proficient in MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Strong knowledge of Reading and Interpreting Plant & Equipment Drawings (schematic, isometric, P&ID)
* Knowledge of Pressure Vessel & Piping Components
* Knowledge of Piping systems and NDE best practices
