Warehouse Associate- Refinery Tools
Our client is a full-service engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, and turnaround company. They are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate at their location in Benicia, CA.
This position will be responsible to fulfill field requests accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Receive small tool shipments and validate items received against packing slips.
- Brand company tools by etching and barcoding.
- Prepare tools for deployment.
- Fulfill field tool requisitions by pulling items from stock and communicating to management quantities to be ordered.
- Send out small tools for repair/calibration/certification.
- Deliver and pick-up small tools from local job sites.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Demonstrate in depth knowledge of small tools and equipment - specifically, tools used in an oil refinery setting.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
* Frequently stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
* Use carts, dollies, pallet jacks and other gear to move items around
* Use handheld engraver for extended periods of time
* Lift up to 50 pounds
* Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
Education and Experience:
* Formal Education:
* Minimum of high school diploma / or equivalent required.
* Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years related warehouse experience required.
* Forklift experience required.
