Our client is a global private equity firm and they have a portfolio of decarbonization focused companies who have developed lower carbon solutions for traditional industrial manufacturing processes.

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Construction Project Engineer who will work closely with one of the portfolio companies (metal recycling company). The Construction Project Engineer oversees construction planning and coordinates with Architecture and Civil Engineering Team to make sure the project completes within schedule.

Responsibilities:

* Handle the necessary schedules and logistics based on the overall project parameters and scope.

* Recommend design changes, planning and layouts.

* Develop project descriptions and status reports for managers and executives for review.

* Manage multiple aspects of construction such as Structural, MEP, Interiors, Equipment Arrival and Installation.

* Responsible for ensuring project timelines are met.

* Report project status to the team in weekly meetings.

* Reports any deficiencies in the work to the onsite personnel and management.

* Completes other construction related special projects as assigned.

Experience and Skills Required:

* Minimum of 3 years of construction experience

* Commercial construction experience preferred.

* BS in Construction Management or similar degree preferred.

* Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project & MS Office Products.

Candidates must be able to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to change.

This is an employed contract opportunity for 3-6 months or the duration of the project. Position may lead to a permanent position. Salary is negotiable.
