Design Drafter III
Location: 2331 CityWest Blvd, Houston TX, 77042
Pay Range: $45.00-$50.50 per hour (Depending on Experience)
Duration: 2 year assignment (Possibility to hire on)
Responsibilities:
- Executes drafting work in AutoCAD to meet high-quality standards and efficiency metrics
- Maintains professional, positive relationships with team members
- Effectively utilizes entire work day, completing assigned tasks and seeks out additional ways to contribute
- Perform drawing maintenance including updates, revisions, and development of as-built record documents
- Ability to understand, interpret, and update Piping Plans Details and Piping Instrumentation Diagrams using ASME B31.3, Process Industry Practices (PIP), and International Society of Automation (ISA) 5.1
- Experience working in a process environment
- Ability to draft in Isometric planes to develop Construction Isometrics while visualizing in 3D for mechanical piping layout
- General use of Microsoft Office
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or Design/Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 5 years of advanced drafting experience
- Minimum of 5 years using CADWorx and AutoCAD 2013 or newer on a daily basis
- TWIC Card Eligible
