Safety Coordinator
Client: Chemical Plant
Location: Waggaman, La
Duration: 3-6 mons, could go longer
Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K
Schedule: 9/80 (off every other Friday)
- Daily interaction with contractors doing maintenance work and project work on-site (audits, Gemba's)
- Weekly performance metrics contractors and employees
- Role out new procedures, revise existing procedures, training on procedures
- Governance on gas monitors
- Support operations and maintenance on safety activities (special permits, special requirements)
- Monthly health and safety reporting to site manager
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working as HSE
- Auditing and regulatory environment in the chemicals, refinery, explosives, or manufacturing industry
