Materials Management Coordinator
Alvin, TX

Purpose of the Role
A high priority role and responsibility is the maintenance of Master Data into SAP for both New Stock Request creations along with all existing Data (revisions/changes/deletions) that resides within SAP.
- Responsible for the expediting, purchasing, and logistics of Storehouse stock materials for the Chocolate Bayou Works focusing on uninterrupted Operations and Maintenance Projects when the Buyer is away from the Storehouse for any number of reasons. Achieved by fully utilizing blanket contract Suppliers unless the preferred Suppliers cannot meet delivery requirements.
- On the Call Out Listing for Procurement of goods and services after normal working hours.
- Performing Goods Receipt of bulk chemical deliveries.
- Assists the Receiving Department with purchase order problems.
- Resolving any Backlogged Purchase Orders
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of two years hands-on experience with SAP
- Minimum of four years' experience in material handling/material expertise.
- Prior experience in a Petrochemical Manufacturing or Gas Processing Facility is a plus.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
