Project Estimator (Hybrid)
Houston, Texas 77002
Schedule: 9/80s (every other Friday off), M-W in office, and Thur/Fri WFH 
Duration: 12 month contract
Rate: DOE

Overview: 
This person will help with several initiatives as part of the Team involving gaining a full understanding of our estimating software (training assistance provided), making custom reports with Excel, and help navigating network issues. Skills using Excel and a knack for digging in and learning new software's is required.
This person will work with the Project Development and Estimating groups.

Responsibilities:
  • Keep Winest estimating database up to date. Learn this software and become proficient.
  • Be responsible for keeping the unit rates and individual material prices current.
  • Learn to create estimates using the software, create, and edit component assemblies.
  • Learn to install new downloads and annual updates to all computers using the software.
  • Maintain new entries and reporting for Lookback Actual Costs and Quotes Databases
  • Assist with integrating the estimating software with P6 scheduling tool

Qualifications: 

  • Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word 
  • Power BI and P6 experience a plus
  • Some knowledge of estimating for project in liquid terminals or petrochemical facilities a plus.
