PTS Advance is looking to speak with Design Engineers to join our global medical device client in the greater Fort Lauderdale, FL area. In this position, you will utilize your design and prototyping experience to bring innovative devices from concept to production. This rapidly expanding client invests in their team, allowing the Design Engineers to gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of design. This is a fully on-site, direct-hire opportunity.
Main Responsibilities
- Execute design and development of drug delivery devices following design controls
- Strategize testing for characterization and design verification/feasibility
- Drive root cause analysis investigation efforts
- Perform Technical Analyses
- Aid in the commercialization of completed products and offer support in expansion efforts
- Offer guidance and advice to the team
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Design Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated Proficiency in Mechanical Design, SolidWorks preferred
- Statistical Analysis, Tolerance Analysis, and additional technical analyses proficiency
- Able to perform Finite Element Analysis
- Understands regulations/standards
- Understands risk management processes including FMEA
- Excellent social, written, and verbal communication skills
- Injection Molding Experience is preferred
