Experience: 20+ years of industrial experience working in the design field, preferably in a Capital Project Group setting within the petrochemical industry.
This E&I designer role is to perform electrical and instrumentation design efforts in a team environment, as necessary to ensure completion of the facility-based Capital and Maintenance Projects.
Must be able to read and fully understand P&IDs and other documents which describe the scope of work.
Provide efficient E&I designs in support of both capital and maintenance projects in a fast-paced work environment with demanding schedules. Designs may include MV and LV electrical systems, including both power and control, as well as instrumentation and control systems along with their associated wiring, panels, specifications, loop diagrams, etc.
Must be a team player. Must work closely with, project engineers, contractors, and team members to achieve project success.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects at a time, and easily adapt to changes in priority.
Possess working knowledge and application of construction standards, best practices, and applicable industry standards.
