Warehouse Planning Supervisor
Under the general supervision of the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Planning Supervisor is responsible for three primary aspects of the Branch operations. 1) Warehouse operations, including material ordering, receiving and shipment and inventory accuracy. 2) Responsible for coordinating and staffing projects 3) Ensuring all construction/warehouse equipment and supplies are well maintained, SAFE to operate and are in good working order.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  • Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy through the oversight and recording of all inventory transactions, including receipt, stocking, storing, labeling, casing, packing and distributing all materials and supplies.
  • Responsible for supervising and preparing material deliveries to both job site deliveries and customers.
  • Studies production schedules to determine and schedule work assignments according to worker availability and job requirements. This equates to approximately 50% of the total workload for this position.
  • Acts as a liaison with Local Union Representative for scheduling crews
  • Completes required paperwork for deliveries
  • Orders equipment and materials for jobsites and warehouse as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining a maintenance log for all equipment documenting the scheduling of and completion of all required preventative maintenance, post job inspections, and repairs to ensure optimum equipment performance.
  • Responsible for obtaining quotes and approvals for third party repairs and preparing the work orders and requisitions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of small engines to be able to repair and maintain construction equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, or similar products).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience
  • 1-2 years of welding experience
  • CDL License - Class B
  • Forklift certification
