Job Description:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting daily office tasks and managing general administrative activities.
Responsibilities:
* Manage event calendars
* Organization and execution of events
* Draft and design different types of written content (for example, internal announcements, newsletters, and printed media)
* Edit and proofread written material, videos, and presentations
* Create and maintain contact databases
Basic/Required Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent qualification
* Minimum two years' experience in an administrative assistant role
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Customer service-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous office management experience for 2 to 5 years
* Experience in writing and editing material
* Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
* Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
* Able to lift to 30 pounds
* Able to stand up to 2 hours at a time
* Proficient and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
