Our client, a large Oil and Gas company, is looking for a Construction Coordinator in Sinclair, WY.

BASIC FUNCTION:
 Conducts moderately complex contract administration assignments for assigned department under minimal supervision.
 
 ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 - Oversees contractor activities, ensures contractors are completing projects on schedule; controls spending on projects, including making material requisitions, writing purchase requisitions, submitting change orders, reviewing timesheets, tracking expenditures based on priorities provided by management
 - Solicits input from other department representatives, planners within the daily and weekly maintenance schedules to develop contract and project work plans and ensure contractors execute the plan safely, effectively and productively
 - Resolves any field problems which prevent contractors from completing work on time and on budget
 - Ensures contractors comply with all contract responsibilities
 - Performs safety audits and ensure contractors meet all safety and OEMS requirements
 - Participates in all necessary PSM activities such as MOCs and HAZOPs
 - Follows all HES action items as assigned
 - Executes contracts/SPO's meeting all contract management requirements and guidelines
 - Provides management with regular updates regarding contractor activities and communicates progress and problems in a timely manner
 - Tracks outflow and inflow of crane and rigging equipment to maintain compliance with internal and industry standards using database software
 - Purchases rigging equipment as required
 - Inspects and approves crane and rigging equipment in the refinery on a routine and as-needed basis to ensure compliance with company and industry requirements by executing routine PM's, verifying daily equipment logs, and reviewing third party inspection results
 
 Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.
 
 EXPERIENCE:
 A minimum of three years of related experience is required.
 
 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
 Experience in using computer-based software to track equipment records, crane and rigging operator experience in the process industry may be preferred depending on assignment are preferred.
 
 EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
 A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
 
 REQUIRED SKILLS:
 Working knowledge of buying and purchasing business and ability to apply this knowledge. Must have Microsoft Office skills including knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of inspection methods and ability to apply this knowledge as it pertains to the company. Mobile Crane Inspector certification, Certified Rigging Gear Inspector (Level III), Advanced Inspector involving inspection of wire rope slings, alloy chain slings, synthetic web slings, and below-the-hook lifting devices depending on location. 

Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication, ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations, decision making and problem-solving skills; ability to read and interpret drawings, instructions, procedures, rules and regulations. 

Self-starter, team-player and able to work in a multi-craft environment. 

Computer literate. 

Ability to read manuals and interpret technical instructions; comprehend and follow verbal instructions; follow rules and regulations, both job and safety related, and make accurate calculations. Advanced ability to adjust to changing conditions in the work environment, maintain composure during highly stressful/emergency situations, and recognize personal limitations and seek help when needed. Intermediate reading and writing skills.
 
 SUPERVISORY/MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 May lead the work of contractors.
 
 WORK CONDITIONS:
 Office based with up to 15% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse/plant environment, and out-of-doors environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, and rotating equipment. Required to respond to plant related emergencies and be available after hours during critical business situations and perform on-call duties. Subject to all temperatures, weather, and varying road conditions.

Compensation: Rate $55.00 - $60.00 hourly DOE
