Construction Superintendent
Supporting: Greenfield Construction Project
Client: Plant
Location: Plaquemine, La
Duration: July 2026- Aug 2028, potential for long term assignment

The Construction Superintendent provides field oversight and coordination to ensure construction activities area executed safely, in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, and aligned with the project schedule and quality expectations. The construction Superintendent is responsible for monitoring reporting, and reinforcing compliance with Owner standards and project requirements.
- This individual is expected to represent Owner interest in the field without direct contractual authority.
- Both greenfield construction site and chemical manufacturing facility
- Participate in daily/weekly coordination and progress update meetings
- Continuous interaction with multiple contractors and disciplines
- Primarily field-based with administrative reporting responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and sequencing
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and work packages
- Ability to interpret schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
- Understanding of contractor work processes and field execution risks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and communication
- Ability to review and annotate drawings or files using digital tools (Adobe, Revu, etc.)
- Capable of maintaining accurate daily reports, logs, and field documentation in digital formats
Experience & Qualifications
5-10+ years of industrial construction experience
Prior experience in an Owner rep or third-party oversight role, preferred
Experience in chemical or petrochemical facilities, strongly preferred
