Job Title: Cost Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Manager to lead the financial and commercial management of our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost planning, procurement management, contract administration, and reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure value for money throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Documentation & Evaluation: Prepare tender documents, define evaluation criteria, and organize tender evaluation processes, including preparing detailed evaluation reports.
- Contract Preparation & Management: Prepare and manage contract documents, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly defined and adhered to throughout the project.
- Change Management & Negotiations: Manage change orders and conduct commercial negotiations to optimize project costs and manage risks.
- Payment Review & Cost Control: Review payment applications, assess cost impacts, and ensure compliance with contractual terms, keeping projects within budget.
- Cost Reporting: Prepare monthly cost and procurement reports, providing accurate forecasting and analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Commercial Meetings: Lead and facilitate commercial meetings, providing insights on cost performance, procurement status, and risk management.
- Risk & Value Management: Identify cost risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to enhance value and mitigate potential financial impacts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost management.
- Strong understanding of cost control, procurement processes, and contract administration.
- Proficient in cost management software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, Bluebeam).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
