Our client is an environmental consulting and construction firm that designs and implements sustainable environmental solutions, including solid and hazardous waste management, landfill gas, site remediation, renewable energy, and regulatory compliance. They have an immediate opportunity for a hybrid Document Control Specialist within their Long Beach, CA location to start at the beginning of January 2024.

 

This person will also be responsible for

  • Copy, scan and store documents 
  • Check for accuracy and edit files, like contracts 
  • Review and Revision control on technical documents (e.g. manuals and drawings) 
  • Distribute project-related copies to internal & external teams 
  • File documents in physical 'where available' and digital records 
  • Create templates for future use 
  • Retrieve files as requested by employees, clients and vendors 
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization 
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement 

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proven work experience 3+ years as a Document Controller or similar role 
  • Familiarity with project management 
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Products i.e.,, Office, Outlook, etc… 
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems 
  • Experienced in typing and editing skills 
  • Data organization skills 
  • Self-motivated and independent 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills 
  • Willing to learn new systems 
  • Participate in process improvements

Compensation:
