Job Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC, manual, and portable field machining equipment, including lathes, milling machines, boring tools, and grinders.

- Calculate and adjust machine parameters, such as spindle positioning, cutting depth, speed, feed rate, and coolant flow.

- Monitor machine operations and displays to detect and address malfunctions.

- Utilize precision measuring instruments to inspect components and ensure compliance with technical specifications.

- Conduct dimensional inspections of finished products.

- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.

- Maintain machines, tooling, and workpieces by cleaning and performing scheduled preventive maintenance.

- Travel extensively (approximately 70%) for overnight assignments.

- Secure and maintain required clearances for access to nuclear facilities.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or Equivalent

- 3+ years of field machining experience

- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations
