Administrative Assistant - Onsite
The Woodlands, Texas
Length: 3 months, could extend
Rate: $20-23/hr.
- Serve as Tier 1 HR support for employee and manager questions.
- Responding in a timely manner or escalating to other HR functions as appropriate.
- Responsible for the monthly random drug screening program for all locations.
- Maintain electronic and paper employee files.
- Perform back-office transactions for general HR data processing in support of HR functions, including running ad-hoc and scheduled reports, data entry, data reconciliation, and sending communications.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in HRIS platform with Workday. Must be able to successfully perform Workday transactions with minimal supervision.
- Prior experience with ADP e-time.
- Proactively partners with Payroll, HRIS associates and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
- Basic understanding of employment laws as they apply to the hiring process.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Experience working in a HR Call Center or HR Shared Service Center preferred.
- Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ability to deliver excellent employee experience via email, telephone, and in person.
- Ability to establish relationships quickly and easily.
- Ability to work well under pressure with excellent time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must be task-oriented and be able to consistently meet deadlines.
- Highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously with general direction.
