Pay Range: $20-$28hr
Location: Woodlands, TX, 77380
Duration: 6 month contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5
Responsibilities:
- Operate international shipping processes and resolve problem shipments
- Coordinate with overseas affiliates, plants, supply chain, and freight forwarders
- Arrange outbound international cargo/freight shipments
- Support the international team with freight management functions
- Ensure compliance with international trade agreements and Customs legislation
- Participate in team meetings and support team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years of related experience in ocean and air export forwarding, import brokerage, or execution of international logistics
- Working knowledge of Freight Forwarder or Brokerage Operations is HIGHLY preferred
- Understanding of IMO forms, hazardous regulations, and SDS Sheets
- Operate international shipping processes and resolve problem shipments
- Support the international team with freight management functions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- SAP and Oracle experience
- Knowledge of banking procedures,
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Hazardous Certification are a plus
