Responsibilities:
- Conducts sampling on petroleum, by products and water samples following ASTM, UOP, EPA and other standard test procedures.
- Reports completed test results to the appropriate department and record results.
- Collects product samples as required.
- Responsible for safe and proper disposal of excess samples and containers.
- Maintains adequate inventory of chemicals and glassware.
- Responsible for participating in safety meetings, safety programs, safety audits, VPP inspections, and job safety analysis.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; without prior experience two years of college Chemistry
- Two years minimum experience in a petroleum or chemical laboratory without two years of college Chemistry
- Must be able to work a rotating twelve-hour shift including extended hours, weekends, holidays and overtime.
- Environment requires wearing fire retardant clothing and protective gear as required.
