Senior Turnaround Cost Specialist
Client: Plant
Location: Mont Belvieu, TX
Duration: 1 year and could go longer

Responsible for coordinating cost team and communicating with accounting during all phases including budget development, validation, execution, and close out.
The Lead Cost Specialist will ensure the current status of every phase is accurately reflected in the reporting cycle.
Planning Phase Set up cost tools and budget sheets Assign projects to cost team
Ensure policy and procedure is being followed on each project Mentor and lead team to meet deadlines, validate quotes, and improve processes
Review and assist with forecast deltas
Establish budget curve Coordination with accounting Execution Phase Coordinate cost team with development of: _ Cost Reports _ Timesheets _ Budget Curves _ Forecast Curves _ Management Reports Run scenarios on potential delays
Coordinate cost team on schedule updates, AWRs, and delays
Closeout reporting Ongoing Efforts Maintain a safe and sanitary work place
Constantly monitor planning practices and suggest improvements where necessary
Assist the Turnaround Team with all other duties assigned Maintenance assistance Potential Capital work assignments Manage contractor budget Provide backup and assistance on all projects Facilitate 5 year calendar updates
Issue weekly reports
Maintain NAFE assignments list Manage
NAFE close out process
