PTS Advance is in search of a logistics coordinator to join our team at our Clients site in Martinez CA. Previous Refinery experience required.
We need someone with experience in managing logistics for major events like TARs and cat changes, including planning Turnaround events.
This involves coordinating various aspects such as lunch tents, temporary power layouts, contractor people movers, equipment laydown, and setting up temporary facilities like BRMs.
We are looking for a local candidate who can commit to this role long-term if they are the right fit. The position will start in April 2024 and go through November 2024, with the possibility of extending until the end of 2025.
The pay rate is targeted at $60+ /hr.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with contractors on temporary power needs, layout map of all temporary power locations with ratings based on evaluations from engineering/HERC establish parking/bussing strategies for major TAR events.
- Coordinate access ways, lunch locations, and break areas to facilitate work in each area
- Assisted facility siting with areas and proactively laid out BRM with contractors seating arrangements.
- Set up temporary badging facilities at each TAR area to facilitate contractor entry/exit.
- Coordinated with procurement on food options (vending machines, food trucks)
- Set up of field PVF facilities and loaded based on needed equipment. Establish field materials reload process with material coordinator.
- Layout field diesel/fuel cells. Establishes fuel routes and coordinates resource to fill fuel as needed.
- Managed equipment rentals and reporting throughout event
Will require PPE/RSO.
