Our client, a major refinery, is looking for a Lead TAR Scheduler in Nort Salt Lake, UT.

Schedule & Project Planning

*              Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera (P6). The candidate must be highly experienced in developing and managing complex schedules.

*              Experience with large-scale projects, particularly those valued over $50M in industrial setting as the lead or senior scheduler.

*              Serve as the scheduling expert for all things dealing with schedules

*              Maintain a level 5 schedule. Including logic changes, re-sequencing, and updating of man-hours.

*              Work with site coordinators & subcontractors and other key personnel on site to obtain physical quantities for earned value analysis and cost/invoicing as needed

*              Develop full CPM logic generated baseline schedules for projects & resource load baseline schedule

*              Ability to build TA equipment construction schedules and assign CPM logic-based schedules

*              Create WBS &Create Activity IDs

*              Construction management experience is a plus

*              Cost estimating skills are a plus

*              Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and job site staff when necessary

Turnaround execution Responsibilities:

*              Perform regular progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules 3 shift & 5 shift

*              Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level

*              Perform schedule analysis-Prepare Time Impact Analysis and or recovery schedule

*              Participate in meetings with project teams, clients, owners and various stakeholders related to the project controls and schedule of a particular project.

*              Review construction documents, design and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required activities, dates, and milestones.

*              Perform logic changes and/or re-sequencing of the baseline schedule to accommodate all scopes of work

*              Conduct earned value analysis

*              Prepare summary and detail level schedules daily

*              Provide shift by shift schedule Narratives

Hourly wage: $50-$75
