PTS is looking for an entry level Material Coordinator to join our team for a project in Houston, Texas! This is a contract position expected to last 3 months then converts to hire on/ permanent hire. This opportunity is with one of our Largest Clients who are an American multinational corporation responsible for most of the world's hydraulic fracturing operations in the Energy Services Group (ESG) space. Pay Rate: $17.00 - $17.91 (Depending on experience)
Location: 3000 N. Sam Houston Parkway E., Houston TX, 77032
Duration: Role is temp 6 months to 1 year. (Possibility for hire on)
Schedule: Variable Day shift / 11-hour shifts (5 - 6 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, responsible for ensuring timely materials goods movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products and inventory accuracy.
- Also responsible for other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
- Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
- Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
- Entry level position. No previous experience required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1 year's work experience (Preferred)
- 1 year - Forklift operation Experience (Preferred)
- Inventory management Experience (Preferred)
- clean - up / housekeeping Experience (Preferred)
- Experience working in an Operations / Heavy Industrial environment is (Preferred)
- Knowledge and use of Handheld Scanners and Lift Truck Certification (Preferred)
- Entry level position. No previous experience required.
