Job Title: Material Handling Engineer – Mining Projects
Location: Centerville, UT (Hybrid Schedule)
Type: Contract (Minimum 6 Months, Potential for Extension)

Our client, a respected Engineering & Design firm, is seeking a Material Handling Engineer to support mining-related projects in their Centerville, Utah office. This is a hybrid contract role, with an initial term of at least 6 months, and strong potential for extension.

About the Role:

You'll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design—especially in mining—you'll hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering of various conveyors, including radial stackers, feed and transfer conveyors
• Layouts for screeners, vibrating grizzly feeders, and hoppers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects
• Experience with gold mining operations is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong knowledge of material handling equipment

Hourly wage: $45-$70.
