Title: Process Engineer
Location: South Hadley, MAA
Overview:
Our client operates a modern 125,000 sq. ft. facility based in Western Massachusetts and specializes in manufacturing a wide range of custom design and standard construction products-from single conductor hook-up wire to complex multi conductor composite cables.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot Process Issues using Short-Term Problem-Solving skills and Long-Term Statistical Process Controls
- Define and/or Simplify Process for Repeatability and Reproducibility
- Design, Implement, Improve Micro-Automations
- Cross Train with Product Design and Quality/Environmental Engineers
- Train with Operations on machines for Process Responsibility
- Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 1-3 yrs. manufacturing experience
- Familiarity w/ statistical methods & DOE
- Programming & Automation experience (Rockwell, Siemens, Automation Direct) - Provide programming for systems (this may include PLC, HMI, Robotic, C++, Visual Basic, etc.)
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong creativity and troubleshooting skills
