Process Safety Analyst 
The main responsibility of the Process Safety Analyst is to provide technical support for PSM/RMP group. Primary focus will be to complete revalidations of the Process Safety Information (PSI) prior to each regulatory unit Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) per the OSHA/EPA regulations. Also, will provide backfill support for PSI evergreen of the Process Technology Package (PTP) data.

Location: Ponca City, Oklahoma 
Pay Rate: $43.00
Duration: 12 months (may extend) 

Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain site Engineering Records to ensure accurate and consistent data management for refinery equipment information.
  • Complete the PSI revalidation process per PSM-1601, Process Technology Package Redevelopment procedure, including:
  • Review information presented in each PTP section and redline data that needs to be reconciled or updated.
  • Compare information in the PTP to P&IDs, PFDs, EDMS, SAP, PCMS, Piping Schedules, etc. as needed to validate equipment/relief valve information.
  • Utilize site resources as needed including: PTP section owners, evergreen drafters and electrical personnel, PSM/RMP team, controls/systems/SIS personnel, etc.
  • Lead meetings to review discrepancies and proposed updates with area personnel/section owners. Incorporate feedback into redevelopment documents.
  • Prepare and distribute reference PSI documents needed by the PHA team, including the redlined PSI from the redevelopment effort.
  • Provide backfill support for PSI evergreen that needs to be updated from completed MOCs.
    Maintain site Engineering Records.
  • Maintain consistent filing structure within the site Electronic Data Management System (EDMS).
  • Load equipment information into EDMS according to equipment and document type.
  • Scan/upload equipment information into EDMS according to equipment and document type.

Requirements: 
* Knowledgeable in refinery processes, equipment, and instrumentation.
* Knowledgeable in Management of Change and Process Safety Information.
* Able to understand and interpret P&IDs, PFDs, plot plans, mechanical equipment information, data sheets, process alarm and basic process controls information, and other equipment information as needed.
* Able to understand industry codes/standards such as API, PSM, RMP, ASTM, ASME and Phillips 66 Specifications and Standards.
* Competent in software/programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP, EDMS, PCMS, Bently Microstation, DOC4000, and PI Vision.
* Thorough in data collection and evaluation.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Well-organized and able to deliver on commitments.
