Our client is a growing, highly respected environmental consulting firm. They work on a wide variety of environmental air quality permitting and compliance projects, across a diverse range of California industries and locations. They are looking for an Administrative Assistant who can support the accounting function of their firm.  The position requires a professional individual with a high standard of quality, efficiency, organization, and the drive and initiative to complete tasks independently. This position will require the candidate to prioritize multiple responsibilities.  This position is based in their office in San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant facilitates efficient daily operations of corporate and remote offices, supporting employees with administrative tasks and aiding in administrative initiatives. This role also supports various business, office, and Executive Management functions. The candidate must maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and organization, managing multiple responsibilities and demonstrating problem-solving skills as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Support Functional Department Administrative needs and special projects (HR, Project Support Execution, IT, Marketing).
- Assist Executive Management with tasks ranging from simple to complex processes.
- Support team members with special assignments (staff meetings, holiday parties, company trainings).
- Lead day-to-day office support tasks, including managing corporate and remote offices, third-party vendors, mail/shipping, office supplies, equipment procurement, employee travel, phone calls, calendaring/meeting arrangements, and filing/typing/copying/scanning.
- Manage insurance certificate documentation.

Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 5-10+ years of experience in administrative roles (Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or comparable) in a professional service environment.
- Strong organizational skills, including multitasking, prioritization, and independent work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite: Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

Salary & Benefits:

- Salary: $65k-$85k
- Benefits: Full Medical/Dental and 401k Package with Paid Time Off
