Project Manager  

Client: Oil & Gas Service Company
Location:   The positions will be based on where the work/project  is - 1st project is in Norco, LA starting May lasting through the end of the year.  They also have a project at Martinez starting 5/1 lasting anywhere from 5 moths to 15 months.   
Duration: Long Term and potential to go direct/permanent.  Must be open to travel to move from project to project to become direct/permanent.  Majority of US work is in Louisiana, Corpus Christi/Houston, and California.

Schedule: Either work 6/1 or 12&2 schedule. lots of 1.5 OT

Potentially have 8-20 people on each project.  

Project Manager is responsible to scope, plan, manage and implement projects. Responsible for managing the delivery of the project from the original definition through execution and including Client handover and review, according to our organization's project management methodology. They design the project goals and success markers, determine how success will be measured and tracked. They ensure the project remains on time and on budget and help motivate team members to hit their goals.
Project Managers also act as a liaison between the project team and upper level management. They prepare and present progress reports and ensure the project is furthering organizational goals. They are active participants in helping internal departments work more efficiently.  They help to facilitate company-wide goals by taking part in strategic planning initiatives and aligning strategies with internal resources.

  • Plan, scope and deliver projects.
  • Lead efforts to ensure project safety (HSE), efficiency and quality in line with organizational values, expectations, and processes.
  • Ensure a plan is created and maintained to deliver projects within the agreed criteria. This includes deliverables, costs, development, and implementation.
  • Develop project methodologies, schedules, and budgets for estimating and project execution.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently as required.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the project output is achieved including third parties and suppliers.
  • Ensure adequate project controls are implemented and applied.
  • Lead the project team and co-ordinate business involvement as required.
  • Provide progress reports on all projects at the required frequency.
  • Effectively communicate with customers/clients to identify requirements and audit to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Develop, communicate, manage and advise during implementation of new procedures, processes, or project expectations.
  • Make relevant project recommendations to Senior Management using analysis and comparisons while being informative and chairing meetings.
  • Identify deviations in internal programs, policies, and procedures by completing audits, investigations and educating employees.
  • Develop and present project 'Lessons Learned' and evaluations upon completion. Identify, implement and track metrics and scorecards measuring project performance and Client satisfaction.
