About the Role

We are seeking a Scheduler to join our team in Lexington, Kentucky. This role is critical in leading and coordinating project control activities, ensuring projects are executed within scope, budget, and schedule. You will oversee planning, scheduling, and forecasting for multiple engineering and construction projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project controls processes to support project management teams in meeting deliverables.
  • Set up projects and maintain data within Enterprise Planning & Controls software.
  • Develop and manage Work Breakdown Structures, schedules, cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, logistics, procurement, and cost management for engineering and construction projects.
  • Approve purchase orders/subcontracts and ensure proper cost coding.
  • Interface with Project Management and Accounting teams to review costs, contingencies, and audit support.
  • Develop and present project cash flow and schedule performance reports.
  • Perform schedule analysis using critical path methodology and "what-if" scenarios.
  • Implement and maintain earned value management systems.
  • Conduct field audits and ensure quality and accuracy of project control deliverables.


Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; OR equivalent applicable experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of direct project controls experience (scheduling focus; cost control experience a plus).
  • Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with earned value management and construction planning tools.
