Our Client is an EPC contractor specializing in the installation of utility substations, power generation, industrial process facilities, and renewable fuel projects. They have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Scheduling Manager Specialist based at their offices in New Jersey (may consider a hybrid schedule).


PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for the scheduling functions. This includes being the primary point of Contact for scheduling support, maintenance of scheduling databases, enforcement of standards and best practices, coordination with counterparts for both owners and subcontracts, and functional scheduling to support project needs.


TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Maintenance of the Primavera databases including maintaining users, defining access rights, and general maintenance of the database(s)

2. Define and enforce standards for scheduling functions both internal to Client and to satisfy contract specific requirements

3. Define and enforce reporting requirements for scheduling functions both internal to Client and to satisfy contract specific requirements

4. Act as primary point of contact for scheduling needs and work with scheduling support resources, as necessary

5. Attend meetings with customers to discuss schedule requirements, updates, issues and concerns, etc.

6. Oversight of scheduling functions on projects and proposals for both internal and external resources

7. Coordinate the scheduling data with the project controls data needed for project and corporate reporting

8. Act as the functional scheduling lead where necessary due to resource constraints

9. Other scheduling functions in support of the Project Services and general project needs


Travel Requirements:

Travel expected at least quarterly for up to a week at a time. Travel expected for project support on as needed basis


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


Educational and experience requirements include:

· Must possess a four-year engineering or business degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience using Primavera P6 including but not limited to schedule development, resource loading, import / export of supporting schedule files (MPP, XER, XLS).

· Must have experience in P6 database administration.
