Job Summary:
The QA/QC is responsible for managing and implementing Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes throughout the lifecycle of oil and gas capital projects. This includes engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. The role ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and client requirements, and works to prevent quality issues that may affect safety, cost, or schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and quality procedures.
  • Review design documents and vendor submittals to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and oversee inspection and testing activities across all project phases.
  • Monitor contractors' and suppliers' QA/QC performance and ensure alignment with project standards.
  • Lead or support internal and external quality audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
  • Track and resolve non-conformances, deviations, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records and certifications (e.g., welding, NDT, pressure testing).
  • Collaborate with HSE and construction teams to ensure safe execution of quality-related tasks.
  • Support turnover and handover documentation for mechanical completion and commissioning.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas.
  • Certified QA/QC qualifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS CWI, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with welding, mechanical completion, and documentation control.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
