QC Administrative Assistant 
Our client is a is a leading global provider of adhesives, composites and formulation products.
 
They are seeking to hire a Quality Admin at their facility in Los Angeles, CA near Glendale.  
 
This person will also be responsible to:
  • Control the flow of documents through the Quality Control Department:
    1. Receive Process Orders. Track completion. Review batch information and results in certificates. Transfer orders to the Logistics or Planning Departments.
    2. Receive and process Laboratory Worksheets and Test Requests. Retrieve and return documents from files. Enter and update records into QC Tracker, LIMS and other databases and logs. Pull retains of samples from the Archive Room.
  • Review data and generate certificates of compliance and analysis. Generate off-line and after-the-fact certificates.
  • Enter and manage data in SAP, LIMS or QC Cards and electronic logs. Track inspection lots, transfer batches, maintain specification and certificate profiles. Maintain inspection plans.
  • Maintain and publish the monthly QC Compliance Calendar.
  • Work closely with the QC Laboratory Expediter, Supervisor and Manager to ensure the efficient flow of information, samples and documentation within the Lab and between departments.
  • Process requisitions for supplies, chemicals and reagents, transact goods receipts, reconcile purchasing card statements, coordinate calibrations. Other administrative duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with supervisor or manager to maintain QC card to ensure compliance with current specifications.

Required Experience
  • High School degree required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Proficient typing skills. Working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access. Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Working knowledge of web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer). Able to conduct research over the internet.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages)
  • Strong organizational skills. Able to keep files in order.
  • Able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Works well in a fast pace environment. Has strong interpersonal skills. Communicates clearly and succinctly.
