Overview
A well-established, family-owned Design-Build construction firm is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to support an active military project at MCAS Yuma. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex federal projects such as aircraft hangars, barracks, and command facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all project quality management functions to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans (QCPs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Lead and document the USACE Three Phases of Control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections.
  • Manage submittals, shop drawings, material approvals, and as-built documentation to ensure contract compliance.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents to establish quality requirements and inspection procedures.
  • Coordinate inspections, maintain accurate quality records, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Partner with site safety leadership to support compliance with all safety standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in vertical construction, serving as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on comparable projects.
  • 2+ years of dedicated experience as a Quality Control Manager.
  • Working knowledge of EM 385-1-1 requirements, including hazard analysis, safety compliance, and sustainability practices.
  • Current certification in Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on large-scale ground-up military, federal, or Department of Defense (DoD) projects.
  • Familiarity with Procore or similar construction document control platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $132,000 – $155,000 annually
  • (Final offer commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.)
