Regional Area Maintenance Manager (California)

Employment: Direct Hire/Long Term

Position Overview:

The Regional Area Maintenance Manager will lead the Maintenance organization, supporting all production facilities within the SoCal region. This role focuses on driving consistency in maintenance activities, improving execution efficiency, utilizing effective maintenance tools, and developing talent. The goal is to improve plant reliability and reduce costs in direct support of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety: Develop a safe work culture, champion safe work completion, and ensure safety training.
• Cost Management: Establish and monitor maintenance budgets, develop long-term strategic plans, approve major spending, and forecast expenses.
• Leadership: Supervise Area Maintenance Supervisors and Regional Technicians, drive consistency in maintenance execution, and promote maintenance system use.
• Plant Support/Coordination: Provide 24/7 operational emergency support, resolve technical issues, drive improvement projects, materials management, and optimize preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in maintenance, engineering, and/or operations.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience with strong technical skills and business acumen.
• Heavy Industrial, Refinery, Chemical Plant, or Hydro Plant experience
• Proven success in Safety, Reliability, Quality, and promoting maintenance excellence.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the region.

Salary and Compensation:

• Salary Range: $150k-180k
