PTS Advance has a great long term contract in Martinez, California for one of our industrial clients.
We are looking for a Relief Valve Coordinator that will work closely with our Inspection Department.
The Relief Valve Program Coordinator will work within the Inspection and Fixed Equipment Reliability Department to manage the total life cycle of all relief valve inspections and maintenance coordination within the facility. The position will report to the Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer.
Work Schedule: 4-10's (6am to 4:30pm M-Th), Overtime potential during yearly Turnarounds
Pay: Base Rate of up to $80/hr depending on experience
Duration: 3 Year Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Update Inspection Management Database for all relief valves at the facility
- Work closely with Turnaround and Maintenance Planning team to scope upcoming relief valve inspections
- Coordinate with Relief Valve rebuild contractor to receive and file valve inspection records
- Compile records for all previous relief valve inspections into online database
- Field verify relief valves and perform external visual inspections on valves that are in service
- Coordinate with Engineers on updating of relief valve records as equipment is put in and taken out of service
- Produce monthly lookaheads for relief valve inspections to the Operations Area team and ensure appropriate operations ARP's (Alternate Relief Valve Plans) are implemented prior to maintenances start
- Coordinate with Process Engineers to ensure that appropriate valve spec sheets are properly updated before and after service of the relief valve
- Work closely with Maintenance planners to ensure that the appropriate relief valve spare parts inventory is set up
- Track relief valve costs with Project Controls and monitor invoicing of rebuilds and parts
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ Years of Refinery Experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Experience with Microsoft Excel - Capable of performing VLookups, building formulas in Excel
- Drivers License
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or API Inspection Certifications
- 5+ Years of Refinery Experience
- Prior Relief Valve Management Experience
- Extensive data analysis experience and familiarity with APM Inspection Database
