Location: Big Spring, TX, 79720
- per diem is available for qualifying candidates
Duration: 1-year long contract
Schedule: 40 hrs Mon-Fri , but may be on call as needed
Responsibilities:
- Daily permit compliance and adherence to safety protocols
- Personal H2S exposure program creation and project management support
- Safety program auditing in the field, permit auditing
- Safety program mentoring with company and contractor groups
- Unit outage safety personnel support
- New employee onboarding support - presentation skills
Requirements:
- Ideally looking for previous experience working in a refinery for at least 7 years.
- Bilingual is preferred
- Preferred: Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
