We are seeking an accomplished Senior FPGA Engineer for our client's facility in Gilbert, AZ. This is 100% Onsite and mainly interested in local candidates.

Our client produces spaceflight hardware and software solutions, integrating vehicle design, component design and engineering services for aerospace, scientific, commercial, and military customers on four continents. This person will be responsible for the design of new and existing FPGAs targeted for spacecraft electronics.

The designer should possess several of the following skills:

• Strong verbal communicator and proficient at generating technical documentation.
• Adhere to the FPGA design process, which includes requirements definition, conceptual design, detailed design, and design verification.
• Develop HDL code and testbenches for FPGAs.
• Perform design analysis that shows compliance to requirements and good design practices.
• Experience with board bring up and troubleshooting in the lab environment.
• Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines.

Required to have EXPERT knowledge on the following items:

1. VHDL
2. ModelSim/Questa Sim
3. Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) Analysis
4. Static Timing Analysis (STA)
5. Self-checking testbenches
6. System Verilog (preferred)

Minimum Qualifications

This position requires:

· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

· A minimum of 8 years of FPGA design experience with a wide range of electrical components.
